I've only made one so far. I plan on making as many as I can in different stitch patterns. Look for them! All will be made with the same color threads, doubled.

Materials:
Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet Cotton Thread Size 10 in purple and parakeet (I believe parakeet is the right name, I lost the wrapper for the blue.) or you can use any bright blue and purple thread.
Size C hook
Yarn needle
Stitches used:
ch-chain
sc-single crochet
fpdc- front post double crochet
bpdc- back post double crochet
Special Stitch:
Double Crochet Cluster V-Stitch (abbr. dc-v): *yo, insert hook in st/sp indicated, yo & pull up loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook, rep from * once more, yo & draw through all 3 loops on hook; ch 1; *yo, insert hook in st/sp indicated, yo & pull up loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook, rep from * once more, yo & draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Pattern:
Ch 43
Row 1: work dc-v in 5th ch from hook (4 sk chs count as first dc and 1 sk ch), sk next ch, dc in next ch, *sk next ch, dc-v in next ch, sk next ch, dc in next ch* rep across
Row 2: ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout) turn, dc-v in next ch-1 sp, *bpdc around next dc, dc-v in next ch-1 sp* rep across, dc in last dc.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, dc-v in next ch-1 sp, *fpdc in next bpdc dc-v in next ch-1 sp* rep across, dc in last dc.
Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc-v in next ch-1 sp, *bpdc in next fpdc dc-v in next ch-1 sp* rep across, dc in last dc.
Repeat Row 3-4 till dishcloth is about 6 in.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in ea st and ch-sp, 3 sc in corner, 2 sc in ea dc edge, 3 dc in corner, sc in ea ch st, 3 sc in corner, 2 sc in ea dc edge, sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch1, *3 sc in same st, sc in ea sc to corner st (the middle st of the 3 sc corner from rnd 1), 3 sc in corner* rep around, sl st to first sc.
Finish off, weave in ends.
