  1. Lizzie,
This is so pretty- can't wait to make one. Love the name of your baby son- my husband and I had considered that as a name for our son when we were expecting him (just short of five years ago), but decided upon Caleb. Love your son's name though!
    Best to you,

  2. Lizzie,

Thanks for the pattern, but I am a very long time crocheter and I don't understand Row 5 where it says to fpdc in fpdc. There isn't a fpdc there. Do you mean fpdc in next sc? Then further in that row where is says fpdc in next 2 fpdc, does that mean to fpdc in the sc beneath the last row? I am sorry, but the instructions are unclear to me.

  3. Hello,
Is there an error in this pattern in row 3? I don't know why we need to repeat...I seem to run out of stitches the first time through the row? And I also agree with Debbie, the previous comment....

  5. I tried this pattern too. It has some errors, when I tried it with the following corrections it came out very pretty.

    Pattern:

    Ch 15
    1) sc in 2nd ch from hook and ea ch across
    2) ch 1, turn, sc in ea sc across
    3) ch1, turn, sc in first 3 sc, fpdc in sc one row below sc in next sc fpdc in sc one row below ea of next 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc, fpdc in sc one row below ea of next 2 sc sc in next sc fpdc in sc one row below sc in last 3 sc {YOU WILL STILL HAVE 14 SC STITCHES, THE REST WILL BE THE TOP OF THE FPDC STITCHES, DO NOT USE THESE FOR ROW 4 BELOW OR ANY OTHER ROWS WHERE YOU ARE INSTRUCTED TO “ch 1, turn, sc in ea sc across” – THE SC NUMBER REMAINS AT 14 THROUGHOUT}

    4) ch 1, turn, sc in ea sc across
    5) ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, fpdc in fpdc, sc in next 4 sc, *fpdc in next 2 fpdc, sc in next 4 sc* repeat * across, fpdc in fpdc, sc in last sc
    6-9) repeat rows 4-5 twice

THEN 10) ch 1, turn, sc in ea sc across
THIS IS 11) ch 1, turn, sc in first 3 sc, fpdc in first 2 fpdc *sc in next 4 sc, fpdc in next 2 fpdc* repeat * across, sc in last 3 sc
    12-15) repeat rows 10-11 twice

Repeat rows 4-15 until length measures 18-20ins
Fold in half, wrong-side out, sc ends together.
    Voila! Headband!
