Sleepless Night...
I'm up at 1am...again...sigh...I have thoughts of amigurumi and baby things running through my head. There's still so much I need to get done and so many things I want to do still, and right now all I want to do is SLEEP! But oh no...God forbid I sleep...stupid baby-insomnia...

Mom's Marvelous Mama Santa Hat
I made this santa hat for my mom, who is in a Red-Hat Lady group. I hope she loves it!

Nuance Hat
Nuance Hat
First hat pattern.
*Note: Uses magic ring, but ch 4 can substitute. Sl st to first st to join.Ch 2 at the beginning of round does not count as st. dc in same st as join.
Materials:
- Caron Simply Soft ( I used Forest Floor, about half a skein)
- G hook
- yarn needle
Special Stitches:
- 2-dc Cluster: *yo, insert hk in st indicated, yo & pull up lp, yo & draw through 2 lps on hk* rep * to * once more, yo & pull through all 3 lps on hk.
Pattern:
In magic ring:
Rnd 1) ch 2, 10 dc in ring, join.
Rnd 2) ch 2, *2 dc in ea st* join.
Rnd 3) ch 2, *dc in next st, 2 dc in next st* join.
Rnd 4) ch 2, *dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st* join.
Rnd 5) ch 2, *dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st* join.
Rnd 6) ch 2, *dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st* join.
Rnd 7) ch 2, *dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in next st* join.

This is my first pattern ever! A pair of armwarmers for my sister. Materials:
- Caron Simply Soft (I used Forest Floor, they only used about half of the skein.)
- H hook
- stitch markers (2)
- yarn needle
Special Stitch:
- 2-dc cluster: *yo, insert hk in sp indicated, yo & pull up lp, yo & pull through 2 lps on hk* rep * to * once more, yo & pull through all 3 lps on hk
Pattern:
Ch 31
1) dc in 4th ch from hk, *sk 2 chs, work (2-dc cluster, ch 1, 2-dc cluster) in next ch* rep * to * across to last 3 chs, sk 2 chs, 2 dc in last ch.
2) ch 3, turn, sk next dc, * work (2-dc cluster, ch 1, 2-dc cluster) in sp between previous clusters* rep * to * across to last 2 sts, sk 1 st, dc in last st.
3) ch 3, turn, dc in 1st st *work (2-dc cluster, ch 1, 2-dc cluster) in sp between previous clusters* rep * to * across to last 3 sts, sk next 2 2-dc clusters, 2 dc in last st.
4-11) rep rows 2-3.
12) ch 3, turn, dc in ea st and sp across.
13-16) ch 3, turn, dc in ea st across.
17-19) ch 2, hdc in ea st across
Finishing:
Fold in half lengthwise, mark thumbholes with stich markers, sc to 1st marker, BO, attach yarn at 2nd marker, sc to end, BO, sc around thumbholes and bottom edge, BO. weave in ends. Enjoy!
